Terms and Conditions

The attorney is out for coffee. In the meantime, these simple terms and conditions will have to do.

If you submit a listing to Plus Size 411, you are responsible for its accuracy and functionality. If you give us a bogus URL, we can’t verify it and your listing will be rejected.

If you submit a listing for a site and say it is of interest to the plus size community but when we get to the site, we find it’s unrelated, your listing will be rejected. We might even mutter quietly a bit as we do so. Make sure that whatever URL you give us goes straight to the site you’re submitting, not to someplace unrelated. We won’t attempt to hunt down the website if you give us a bad URL.

You have to register to submit a listing. Why? Because we hate spam and loathe spammers. If you don’t spam and you’re not a spammer, you won’t mind registering so that we know your site is being listed by a Real Human Being. Not a bot, not a program or script.

If you add a listing and later on decide it needs some changes, either add a new listing (and we’ll delete the old one and move any upgrades to the new one), or go to the Contact Us page and send a note saying something needs to be changed. Please tell us (1) what your site is and (2) what about the listing you want changed, and (3) we’ll take it from there.

We may add more to this Terms and Conditions document, once the attorney comes back with the coffee and donuts. Then again, we might not. We’re about as wild about legalese as we are about spam.

But if we do make changes, we’ll say so.

We’ll do our very very best to keep the site running. Promise. However, if California and surrounding stuff falls into the Pacific Ocean, destroying about 1/3 of the Internet and 99.27% of Silicon Valley, unto which all technological blessings flow (ok, except Redmond), we cannot and will not be held responsible, or even very much alive. We live in California, after all.

This version was written on 07 March 2010 and takes precedence over replaces anything that was here before. Which was not hard since all it said before was “Terms go here.” Durn lawyers.
